Network Support Engineer
The Network Support Engineer's job is to develop, configure and maintain networks, in accordance with the functional specifications established to support the automation of the work of the client.
Task:
- Perform network inventory and document the network using company network profile model;
- General installation and troubleshooting of user windows desktop and other new systems;
- General installation and troubleshooting of common network devices (Printers, switches, Scanner, etc.);
- User support on Microsoft office suite, execute backup, and antivirus applications;
- Basic windows server’s installations & support;
- Basic setup and support virtualization host of VMware & HyperV;
- SLA customers daily, weekly monthly schedule, maintenance & tasks and follow ups.
- Basic setup and support of office 365 accounts and setup office and emails;
- Design, secure and performance optimize windows desktop/thin client base image, and perform mass deployment using desktop deployment tools;
- Implementation of windows-based enterprise network using advance group policies configuration;
- In-depth implementation, management (hardware / discs) and reporting of enterprise backup, antivirus & patch management solutions;
- Create and follow procedures/advanced settings of installation of programs.
- Plan, monitor and follow up status;
- Schedules daily tasks (create reports / create schedules / assessments at customers
- Documentation of necessary information regarding preparation of reports to customers
- Restore files
- Daily time registration for specific projects
Job requirements:
- Minimum SBO/MBO education level 4 or UOC Information Technology
- Minimum of HBO work & thinking level
- At least 1 year of work experience and experience with configuration
- Has a passion for technology and have strong sense of urgency and drive.
- Must be able to understand the processes within the organization (the client) and the steps involved with the new technics
- Strong analytical skills, and assumes a leadership role in the resolution of technical issues
- Proven ability to communicate with team members & to build trust and partnership with vendors.
- Good documentation skills
- Excellent (technical) verbal and written communication skills in English, Dutch and Papiamentu
- Must be able to deal with stress associated with a fast-paced work environment and strict deadlines.

Technical knowledge:
- Knowledge of VMware (virtualisation) and HyperV is a plus
- Knowledge of Veem (backup system)
- Knowledge of server and desktop installation
- Cloud knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft office / Microsoft exchange / Microsoft 365
